I missed writing here a lot, actually I missed publishing I wrote a lot of drafts in the past months, my last post was about the tunisian revolution back then people started comparing what happened there to Egypt and said that something similar could happen here, honestly I though they were wrong how can it happen while most of the people aren’t willing to sacrifice any thing for their freedom??
One of the things life taught me is that you have to work hard to get what you want and If you did your best be sure that Allah will reward you and your effort won’t be in vain, given this fact -for me- and how we used to interact with any political thing by just nagging at the cafes and totally ignoring any call for demonstrations, strikes, … I made my decision.
But boy what the hell happened at January 25 was magnificent I’ve never seen such a big crowd at a demonstration it was usually 50-100 protesters surrounded by 1000 soldiers, some times you literally can’t see the protesters, and it was my first time to participate, according to my friend we lost our political virginity that day, then came the 18 days of fighting the regime and when it felt dark the most the light came in.
And I finally say that THE SUN DID RISE UP at those 18 days, although it started to faint afterwards but it doesn’t matter we had the taste of “Change, Freedom and Social Justice” at those days ,this was the original call at January 25, and we will have it again inshaallah.
