Freaky Friday – Power to the People

Freaky Friday was a movie by Lindsay Lohan in 2003 , it is about a teenage girl who is generally upset with her mom after her father died and the mom is preparing to get married they were having dinner at a Chinese restaurant on a Friday when the restaurant owner gave them a fortune cookie that switched their bodies, eventually they got along with each other and restored their bodies.
What’s happening now at the Arab world reminds me of this movie, Friday used to be a chill out day with the prayer, lunch, nap, family visits, football matches, cinemas, … but it suddenly turned into a day for freedom all the protesters seeking for it start the demonstrations on Friday all around the Arab world, instead of broadcasting the Gomaa prayer from a mosque it is broadcasted from a square full of protesters.
Also a switch happens each Friday, the typical “simple” citizen of the Arab world who is always discriminated, silent, patient, …. turns out into a rebel who cries out loud for his freedom and the police or national security or the army in some countries is the silent, afraid and reactive one waiting for the next action of the rebels, so on that day the authority is switched between the ones in charge and the people of the county.
Now the people that got their freedom back are trying to correct the afterwards situation and get along with the former owners of authority, on a legal and human rights base this time, so that they can switch back (Hopefully).
