E.S.L
It all started at 2nd or 3rd preparatory when a Nigerian student came to our school, first he didn’t talk a lot and was isolated from us but later we got used to each other and he became one of my dear friends (I don’t see him any more now), any way he had his name abbreviated into three letters and he used to write them on his notebooks and books, so all of us – we were 5 boys at the class – did the same each one picked three letters to become his name the letters I choose were pretty easy – E.S.L – the first three of my name.
This thing evolved so much from just a three letters to what can be called a LOGO, from time to time I used to come up with a new style to write them, now I’ll show you the styles that I can remember and I’m sure that there is almost as much as those that I can’t remember.
This was my first logo, just the three letters

This was inspired by the electric chapter at secondary stage physics, I loved the way we used to draw the resistance at the electrical circuit – the zig zag line (not the bafra
).

At the secondary stage I was so much into the rap and hip-hop especially that I used to hand out with a lot of Africans who had nearly half of their time dedicated to the music, the other half was probably dedicated to smoking, the rappers don’t say “the” they say “da” so this is (E.S.L the boss)

This is calculator style, inspired by my first multi-functional Casio calculator

I don’t remember much where this came from, but I think that Eminem used to write his “E” like that

I have a colored painting of that logo at my room, I don’t remember where it came from

The main reason for this one is that it can fit the bathroom’s oval mirror, after I take a hot shower and the steam is all over the bathroom I used to draw this on the mirror.

Now this is “El za3′lol el kebeer”, it came up at the first or second year in college when I used to spend most of the night studying for Math, that was before I figure out that this isn’t the way to succeed this subject, I came up with my own language which I used to write my name, this is the language each symbol corresponds to a letter
And this is my name using the language

This is a recent one, later I changed it to Big Solom

I guess that the end of those styles was at the fourth year in college as I don’t remember coming up with a new one after starting my career.
IC – People
Those are photos of people I don’t know but I think that each one of them was thinking of something very deep – relatively – that he felt disconnected from the outside world (eh el kalam el kebeer dah
).
Sorry if the quality of the images wasn’t good as the digital zoom of my mobile phone camera sucks.
IC- Al Sultan Hassan Mosque
That visit took about 2 hours to reach the mosque and about 45 min inside it, those 2 hours were the worst in my life as it was extremely hot day, the streets were crowded although it was a Saturday and I depended on the people to get me there (I faced a lot of Fatawa), any way the 45 mins made the rest of the day.
Simply that mosque made me feel PEACE.
IC – Al Ain Al-Sokhna
On the 1st of May I went to a fishing trip at Al-Ain Al-Sokhna at “Wadi Al Dom” port it’s in front of the new “Porto Alsokhna”. It was a great day the swimming, jumping, fishing, eating, … all of it and I want to thank Ahmed Almahdy very much for organizing this, he worked in silence
:D
Those are some of the marvelous scenes there.
IC-Alexandria
The third baby in the IC series, this was a 2-days trip to Alexandria on February 2009 a short one but the last day was really fantastic, finally a7eb ab3at salam for the Alexandrian restaurants especially Balba3, those people really know how to eat.
IC-Al Quahira Al Fatemeya
This is the second post of the IC series as i promised, this one was in “el moez le deen allah al fatemy” street in “el hussein” it’s a street that has been closed for the cars, all the monuments there have been restored to a very good state and magnificent lights were put. Really it’s great i’m amazed that something this beautiful happened in our country I hope that it lasts and don’t lose attention.
All the photos were taken on sunday, December 14, 2008 at “el moez le den allah al fatemy” street in El-Hussein area and at El-hussein mosque
